Wild and scarce, it comes from the lower area of Mezquital, Durango. This maguey is distilled with ancestral techniques which is reflected in the heart of the distillate. An elegant and complex mezcal for real Mezcal lovers.
Tasting Notes:
Aroma: Mezcal rich in aromas and flavors where its floral notes stand out with many oils and notes of mint, vanilla, olives and minerals.
Palate: Tropical flower potpourri. Big animal cracker note. Vanilla. Dead grass. Dried mint.
Finish: Slightly saline at first, but then the clay breaks through and is predominant well into the aftertaste.
Maguey: Masparillo: 14-16 years. (Maximiliana)
